EUROFOX system basics

EUROFOX substructures are made of aluminium with individual system components such as primary and assembly fixings produced in stainless steel.

Depending on the type of cladding facade support profiles, EUROFOX systems are divided into vertical and horizontal systems.

Vertical systems and horizontal systems
The choice of system used depends on the cladding type as well as the structural circumstances. Vertical systems, for example, are often used on brickwork or concrete masonry. Horizontal systems on the other hand are very often used on beam-and-column constructions.

The construction principle of fixed and flexible points
An essential construction principle of EUROFOX systems is to allow for thermal expansion and contraction. Eurofox systems use Fixed Point (FP) and Flexible Point (GP) brackets.

Fixed point, Brackets and profiles are connected by the round holes in the bracket. The fixed point absorbs both vertical weight loads and horizontal wind loads.

Flexible point, Bracket and profiles are connected at the elongated holes in the brackets. The primary function of the flexible point bracket being to absorb dynamic horizontal wind loads.

With vertical and horizontal systems each profile is connected by means of at least one fixed point and several flexible point brackets.

Length of profilesWith vertical systems the length of the profiles normally depends on the storey height, with horizontal systems it depends on panel separation.

Eurofox rainscreen claddings support systems have been developed to service the ever changing face of architectural and building demands for more flexible and economical solutions that still maintain aesthetic quality and technical performance

All the component parts of the systems are manufactured using environmentally friendly materials and processes. These materials are recyclable.

1. MacFOX Brackets
MacFOX Brackets are available in a range of sizes from 40 mm to 250 mm.

2. X-FOX Brackets
X-FOX Brackets are available in a range of sizes from 70 mm to 180 mm.

3. Facade design
Using the various sizes of MacFOX / XFOX support brackets helps the designer to create the desired facade shape.

4. Compensation of tolerances
Each bracket affords to compensate tolerances of up to 40mm by its unique pre-mounting technique for initial line and level, prior to final fixing with rivets.

5. Large tolerances
Tolerances exceeding 40mm or recesses in the wall up to 210 mm may be compensated by application of different bracket sizes.
